Description

This is an automotive front hood lock that ensures both safety and convenient operation. Its key feature is a rotatable locking hook assembled on the right side of the lock body. The upper part of this locking hook is a hook, and the lower part is a guide sleeve. Inside the guide sleeve, there is a compression spring and a positioning pin. The positioning pin is sealed with a switch plug and a lever. The lever is connected to a switch link, a cable, and a handle. The handle is installed in the driver's cab. On the left side of the lock body, there is an internal pawl. The moment the front hood of the car is pressed down, the locking hook rotates 45° around the lock catch and firmly hooks the lock catch. The positioning pin is forced into the positioning hole by the compression spring, and the internal pawl hooks the locking hook. The lower part of the internal pawl is also controlled by the switch link, forming a normally - closed state, thus achieving safety and reliability. When opening, pull the handle to move the switch link, turn the lever, pull out the positioning pin, and the lock catch is forcibly pushed out of the lock body by the opening tension spring, meeting the requirement of convenient and flexible opening.
